Mostafizur Rahman has about ten years of experience in increasingly responsible roles within research at several reputed organizations including BRAC Development Institute and MRC MODE Ltd. In his most recent position, he managed social research for Nielsen Bangladesh. He successfully managed local and international clients which include GoB, World Bank, USAID, ILO, Nutrition International Canada, The Asia Foundation, UNICEF, UNFPA, UN Women, BCCP, Social Marketing Company, Save the Children, Plan International, ActionaAid Bangladesh, Oxfam etc.
As a Senior Research Manager at ResInt Bangladesh, he leads a thriving team of talented researchers that manage monitoring and evaluation projects, public opinion surveys, and media research for all the leading MNCs and global organizations. He oversees projects throughout the full research cycle, from contracting to research design, questionnaire development and translation, sampling, fieldwork, quality control, data processing, and data analysis.
Mostafizur is passionate to Research and Development and he has action oriented research expertise in the areas of child rights and protection, climate change and adaptation, urban development, maternal and child health, family planning and reproductive health, perception study, economic development/livelihoods, food security, women empowerment, education, water sanitation and hygiene, good governance, migration and trafficking, media and communication, impact assessment/monitoring and evaluation.
He earns a Master’s degree in Anthropology, securing 1st class 1st position from Jahangirnagar University.
